About

I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking timeless, painterly portraits to honor their legacies. Many of my subjects seek to mark important life milestones, resilience through adversity, or simply because the time feels right.

Portraiture sessions are most often conducted at my studio space in Alexandria, VA. Sessions are unhurried and unfold at their own pace. Subjects can expect to spend between two-to-four hours at the studio. My availability is limited to a few occasions per month.

The portraits are meant to last generations, and offer a striking glimpse of the subject's presence and character. Like my great-grandfather's portrait that retains its charge after a century, the work gets better with age.

Commissions start at $1800, including professional makeup and archival-grade framed prints.
